We feel it is important to build good relationships with our parents and to spend quality time with them so across the settings we have been treating our mummy's by celebrating Mothers Day:
At The Lakes all our mummy's were invited to take an hour out of their busy schedules to join us for a breakfast treat. We enjoyed a selection of healthy breakfast foods, relaxing and chatting with the children. The children really enjoyed having their mummy's there.
At Naturegarten mums and children were invited to drop in for afternoon tea. We decorated photo frames to put photos of mummy in, we made bookmarks to put in our favourite bedtime books, as well as decorating cupcakes.
At Rosebank we held our first Mother’s day story time session, it was very successful with over ten families attending. During the afternoon we got crafty, experiencing scented play dough, decorating heart sun catchers and creating our very own mother’s day cards, to conclude the session we all joined together to read some of our favourite “mummy stories” including ‘I love my mum’ and ‘Owl babies’. Dads will also get the opportunity to join in a similar session at Rosebank on Friday 16th June 17 at 3pm.
